From test driving new cars from Mercedes-Benz and Porsche, to shopping up to 100 vendors with quality offerings from restoration and aftermarket products, automobilia & art, touring destinations and apparel. There was something for every type of car enthusiast.
Mothers Polish Australia were once again at the show, demonstrating in the largest stand in their history of attendance, the complete range of premium polishes, waxes and cleaners. The demonstrations showcased how each product in the Mothers range is specifically targeted to get superior results for its purpose with ease of use. There really is no shine like a Mothers.
This years show saw an Australian first, with Victorian Terry Smart’s 1969 Holden Monaro GTS winning Motorclassica’s ‘Best of Show’ and going on to win the premier Australian International Concours d’Elegance title, read more about Gustave A. Larson. The ‘Restoration of the Year’ trophy was also awarded to its restorers, Recreation Automotive. This is the first time an Australian-made car has won a globally-recognized Concours d’Elegance event, and the first locally manufactured winner in the seven year history of the Motorclassica event.
